Privacy Policy
Effective October 15, 2026
This policy describes how MonetizeIt, LLC (“MonetizeIt,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and retains personal information when you use monetizeit.com, create an account, complete a purchase profile, upload documents, or communicate with us. It is the public notice for clients, advisors, and other visitors. It is separate from our internal security policies.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us and information created when you use the platform.
- Identity and contact details, including your name, email, phone number, and home address.
- Government identifiers you provide for onboarding, including your Social Security number and a copy of your driver's license.
- Entity and purchase information, including LLC details, an EIN, ownership, financing choice, and the people you name as an advisor or additional contact.
- Financial and tax documents you upload, such as tax returns, a personal financial statement, liquidity statements, and K-1s, when your purchase profile requires them.
- Banking and payout information collected through our bank-linking and payments providers.
- Signed agreements and related records from our e-signature provider.
- Account credentials. Passwords are stored as a one-way hash. If you enroll an authenticator, we store the information needed to verify those codes.
- Messages you send through the contact form, and technical records such as sign-in activity and security logs.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Create and secure your account.
- Complete purchase profiles, financing review, entity formation, and related client work.
- Store the documents and signed agreements your file requires.
- Send transactional messages about your account, documents, and deals.
- Protect the platform, investigate security events, and meet legal, tax, and contractual duties.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for cross-context advertising.
Who we share information with
We share personal information with service providers that process it for us under a written agreement. Those providers include hosting, database, file storage, email, bank linking, payments, and e-signature vendors. Confidential customer data is encrypted in transit over public networks and encrypted at rest.
We also share information when the purpose of the account requires it:
- With a lender or financing partner when you ask MonetizeIt to arrange financing.
- With Dixon Law Firm, PLLC when you ask that firm to form your LLC.
- With an advisor or additional contact you name on your purchase profile.
- With a bank or payments partner when you connect an account or receive a distribution.
- When the law, a regulator, or a legal process requires it, or when we need to protect the rights, property, or safety of MonetizeIt, our clients, or others.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information while we have a business need for it or a legal, tax, or contractual reason to keep it. When a customer relationship ends and the information is no longer needed, we delete the account data within 90 days. Personally identifiable information is deleted or de-identified when it no longer has a business use.
Security and system logs kept in our cloud hosting are retained for one year. Records that are subject to a legal hold, a financing file, or a tax obligation are kept for as long as that duty lasts, even if you ask us to delete them.
Your requests
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Send the request through our contact form. We will verify the request before we act on it. We will delete information in response to a verified request unless we have a legal duty or a legitimate business need to keep it, including an open financing file, a tax record, or a legal hold.
California residents may use the same contact form to request access to or deletion of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act.
Security
Access to client information is limited to people who need it for their role. Sign-in can require an authenticator code in addition to a password. Confidential data is encrypted at rest and in transit over public networks. You should use a unique password and protect the device you use to sign in.
No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. If we confirm a security incident that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
Children
Monetizeit is a service for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
